Tips for your camping trip
Campfire: Open fire on the ground is a fire hazard. Barbecues must therefore be at least 40 cm above the ground. Fires must be lit only in designated fire pits.
Fishing: fishing in the Biesbosch is only allowed if you have a permit.
Luggage: pack your luggage in garbage bags. It does not stay completely dry in a canoe. You will receive a waterproof barrel for your valuables, such as a telephone.
For camping trips we recommend a 2-person Canadian canoe. This canoe is the same size as a 3-person Canadian canoe and offers enough space for camping equipment.
Food/drink: we advise you to bring enough food and drinks. Restaurants and shops are only located on the outer edge of the Biesbosch. That’s a long way off for most of us.
Waste: take your waste with you and deposit it in the appropriate containers on the grounds of our marina.
